Dana Bostick Inspector Having worked in the construction trades for over 25 years, it was a natural move to start inspecting homes. Dana has a solid grounding as a contractor and is a licensed heating and air conditioning, electrical and plumbing contractor as well as a General Contractor. Dana is experienced in both residential and commercial projects. He brings these many years of experience to the job of inspecting. Dana’s excellent communication skills and his natural love of helping people understand, make him well liked by all his clients. His love of all things technological makes him a valuable resource to the LaRocca inspectors and to the local chapter of the California Real Estate Inspection Association. He is currently the Webmaster for that group as well as a past chapter officer.
Jerry Corum Inspector Jerry has been in construction and contracting for years. He has experience with electrical, plumbing, roofing, as well as other contracting areas. Jerry's caring nature and great communication skills make him a wonderful inspector for any job. Jerry takes an active role in the activities of the California Real Estate Inspection Association.
Jose Diaz Inspector Jose's easy-going disposition and understanding nature ensure that he will take care of his clients while providing them with a detailed report of their property. With over eight years of experience in construction, Jose is fluent in both English and Spanish, which greatly assists our Spanish-speaking clients. Jose will always go the extra mile for his clients.
Steve Ellsworth Senior Inspector Steve owned his own successful construction company prior to coming aboard as an inspector at LaRocca. Steve has been with the company for many years. With over 20 years of construction experience, Steve is not only excellent with residential inspections, he is also terrific with apartment buildings and commercial projects. His patience and knowledge of construction contribute greatly to his success.
Gregg Forscher Inspector A member of ASHI, the American Society of Home Inspectors, Gregg has worked in the construction field for over 20 years with hands-on experience in each of the major trades. His extensive experience includes supervising all sorts of small and large renovations and remodels. His well-rounded construction background and knowledge coupled with his great people skills make Gregg an excellent inspector.
David Hamilton Inspector David has been working in the construction field for over 19 years. He has a very extensive background in the electrical field as well as other construction areas. David is a wonderful inspector because of his patient, calm and helpful nature. He is a very thorough inspector. His communication skills are appreciated by his clients. David's goal as an inspector is: "to provide my clients an understanding of the property they are dealing with so they have improved judgment and can make informed decisions regarding it." David is Secretary of the local CREIA chapter.
Mark Harrison Inspector Mark has worked in the construction field for over 10 years. His first experience in construction was working in the sheet metal industry where he quickly became an adept workman and moved on to other construction trades including electrical, cement work, masonry and general construction. Mark's understanding of these various fields make him a welcome addition to our team and a frequently requested inspector.
Bud Hayes Inspector Bud owned and operated his own general contracting company and custom cabinet shop in Portland, Oregon, for 22 years. After moving to Southern California, Bud decided to join up with the LaRocca team. From his many years in the construction industry, doing both residential and commercial work, Bud has gained the knowledge and expertise to inspect a property and detect and isolate problem areas that exist. His calm manner and clear explanations of his findings make him an excellent choice as an inspector. Bud is the current President of the local chapter of the California Real Estate Inspection Association. Bud also does volunteer work with The Way to Happiness Outdoor Club which works on various community projects, helping with inner city youth, and fundraising with various outdoor activities.
Garrett Martell Senior Inspector
Garett Martell has over 25 years of residential and commercial construction experience making him a highly qualified as a property inspector. He maintains his continuing education and certifications with ASHI and NAHI. Plus, having done thousands of inspections over the years, his thoroughness and calm demeanor combine to make him a top-notch inspector.
Steve Nichols Senior Inspector Steve has worked in the building trades for over 15 years. His first experience in construction was helping his grandfather build their own two-story home on the coast of Oregon. Since then he has continued in the industry and developed skill and expertise on foundations, framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning. Steve takes special care to help the client understand the property they are purchasing or selling. Steve is the current Membership Secretary of the local chapter of CREIA.
Mark Phillips Senior Inspector Mark has worked in the construction field for the past 25 years. He has knowledge and expertise in many areas of construction including roofing, electrical, plumbing, framing, heating and air conditioning, etc. Mark is licensed as a general contractor and as an electrical contractor. He is also a member of the California Real Estate Inspection Association (CREIA). His many years of building experience and his calm demeanor make him one of our most capable inspectors.
Dave Short Inspector Dave has been in the construction field for more than 25 years. He has been a licensed California General Contractor since 1979 and has 20 years of experience successfully building and remodeling. Dave has extensive hands-on expertise in the fields of plumbing, carpentry, electrical and residential construction. With his knowledge, Dave is very qualified to inspect the complexities of a home to determine the assets and problems it may have. Dave is also considered to be a patient, good listener and quite helpful in getting a client to better understand the property they are considering.
Stan Tabor Senior Inspector Stan started working in the construction field in 1970 and owned his own successful construction company for over 15 years. His broad experience includes framing, concrete work, roofing, etc. His gentle personality and extensive construction experience make him an asset to the LaRocca Inspection team.
Bob "BW" Wood Senior Inspector BW, as he is known around here, started supervising construction in the early 1980s and continued successfully in the construction field until he owned his own construction company. He has experience in many areas of construction. His patience, helpful nature and knowledge of building have made him one of our most requested inspectors. BW is the Secretary of Education in one of the local chapters of CREIA.
Joe Wood Inspector
Don't let Joe's youthful looks fool you, he has over 11 years of experience in construction, has quickly risen through our training program to become one of our most skilled inspectors and, as you may note by his surname, is related to our Senior Inspector, Bob Wood. Joe's background is in electrical, plumbing, roofing, remodeling and framing. Joe is frequently requested for inspections because of his professional demeanor and ability to communicate well. Joe is a member of the California Real Estate Inspection Association.
